The selection of the necessary examinations of the autonomic nervous system is based on your complaints or the suspected disease. The aim of the measurements and neurovegetative tests is to find the cause of your complaints in order to be able to treat them in a targeted manner. In this search, we work closely with our colleagues in other subjects such as cardiology, gastroenterology, rheumatology, urology and radiology. At the follow-up appointment at Neuro Praxis Düsseldorf, the focus will be on diagnosing your illness. We have a large number of measurements and tests ready to help you find the cause of your complaints. According to international standards, these include all essential diagnostic methods in neurological practices and autonomous laboratories. Rare diseases often require exchange and cooperation with specialist clinics and treatment centers. This possibility is offered thanks to an interdisciplinary network that has been established over many years.

Diagnostics during pregnancy

The diagnostic examinations used at Neuro Praxis Düsseldorf are almost without exception safe during pregnancy and can generally be carried out. However, we fundamentally advise against examinations with motor evoked potentials (MEP) during pregnancy. We would also be rather cautious with a tilt table examination due to the potential circulatory strain and would carefully weigh the individual benefits. Regardless of this, if the patient herself has concerns regarding an examination during pregnancy, we will of course postpone the diagnostics to a time after the pregnancy upon request.
